Miss Essinger-Hileman
I have loved math ever since I can remember. I started out in college as an Aerospace Engineering major, then after realizing that I wanted to work as a teacher I switched to Secondary Math Education. I graduated from Penn State in 2010 with a BS in Secondary Math Education, and completed a Master's degree in Educational Psychology through Capella University in 2019.
I have lived in quite a few parts of Pennsylvania in my life, and also lived in Ohio for a couple of years. After graduating from Penn State, I settled in the State College area. I've subbed in the nearby school districts of State College, Bellefonte, and Penns Valley as well as at Our Lady of Victory and Saint Joseph's Catholic Schools.
I've taught at YSCP since the fall of 2016, and I am excited to be a part of the middle school faculty and the YSCP community.
