Welcome to Ms. Lu's Chinese Class!

​Hi everyone! My name is Sunhanyan (Flora) Lu, and you can call me 陆老师 (Lù Lǎo shī, Teacher Lu). I’m so happy to be your Chinese teacher at YSCP!

I joined YSCP in 2022, and since then I’ve loved helping students learn Chinese and discover more about Chinese culture. I grew up in Shanghai, China, and later earned my Master’s Degree in Education at the University of Pittsburgh, where I focused on teaching foreign languages.

In our middle school Chinese classes, we will practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing, and also learn about Chinese culture through fun projects, activities, and discussions.
